Have you ever thought how Facebook has helped us in staying in touch with our long lost friends and family? We come across so many people in our lifetime. Some of them just fade away with time, even when they were the best of friends at one point in time. This is where Facebook steps in and leads us to our friends whom we lost long back. This is one such story where Facebook played a vital role in uniting a mother with her daughter. Estellita Murg had no clue that her 42nd birthday will turn out to be the best birthday ever. Murg at the age of 22 was already the mother of two daughters, therefore, when she was pregnant with her third child in the middle of a messy divorce she knew she had to take a tough call. She was struggling in her life, so she thought that closed adoption would be the best option for her daughter. Her sister Hope Cunningham was her confidante at that time. A closed adoption is a process where the records of the adoption are kept a secret. Here the parents or the child will not be able to find out any details about each other. For 20 years, the mother and the daughter stayed apart. On her birthday, Murg sensed that everybody is hiding something from her, but she wasn’t able to guess what it was. Her husband, her sister with her four children was all part of the party that took place at C.J. Maggie’s barbecues and pizza restaurant. Just before the meal, Cunningham gave the biggest and most probably the best surprise to her sister. Cunningham walked in with a group of strangers and before she could introduce them, Murg knew that one of them was her daughter. She went up to her and embraced her daughter after 20 years. The birthday song was never so sweeter in her life. Her daughter is now known as Natalie Rodgers and was raised in Florida. The whole incident of adoption came to the knowledge of Natalie when her adoptive mother Anita spilled out the beans by chance. Actually, when Natalie expressed her fondness for the name Dakota, Anita revealed that her biological mother had actually named her Dakota Love. Soon after, she knew about her biological mother, she started looking for her on Facebook and connected with her brother Zian too. The siblings then planned for a birthday surprise for their mother with a little help from Anita as well. Rodgers also brought a scrapbook along with her to show her mother that she was brought up exactly the way her mother would have wished. And this is how miracles happen on Facebook be sure to like,
