She was struggling in her life, so she thought that closed adoption would be the best option for her daughter. Her sister Hope Cunningham was her confidante at that time. Actually, when Natalie expressed her fondness for the name Dakota, Anita revealed that her biological mother had actually named her Dakota Love.
