She explained to the Jimmy John’s employee that she won’t be there to sign the delivery as she stays 3 hours away from the place and the order was meant to be delivered to her boyfriend’s house. When her boyfriend texted her that he was going to take a nap, she revealed her plan to him. She also asked him to pay a tip to the delivery boy who is on his way to deliver the gourmet sandwich to him. For a long time, she didn’t receive any message, so she thought he must be sleeping. Finally, a thank you message popped up on her screen. Soon after, she was getting a call from Jimmy John’s employee enquiring about the delivery. She was surprised because she had already explained the situation while placing the order. The guy went on to explain what he saw when he went to deliver the order. He said that he saw her boyfriend in his boxers and a naked woman on top of him. She was baffled by this revelation, but nonetheless, she thanked the delivery guy for sharing the details and letting her know what her boyfriend was up to. She also thanked the delivery guy for an excellent customer service. Her tweets garnered several reactions, among which some of them said that her boyfriend should reimburse her for the sub and someone tweeted that he just hopes that the sandwich wasn’t delivered to that guy. When she confronted him about the whole situation, he simply denied the fact. He didn’t want to accept his fault. Though the relationship ended pretty soon, her relationship with Jimmy John’s just grew from strength to strength. Once they came to know about the story, Jimmy John’s reached out to Kayla and offered her their service for her break-up party. Indeed, when Kayla threw a break-up party, Jimmy John’s catered and there was a big banner saying that ‘Jimmy John’s is my new boyfriend’.
